About Me
fter years of ignoring obvious red flags, my marriage ended abruptly.
Let’s just say it didn’t end quietly—it unraveled with drama, unexpected twists, and the kind of blunt reality that makes you question everything.
One weekend, following a close friend’s wedding, the facade of our “perfect” marriage crumbled. Maintaining that illusion had been exhausting, and its end, while painful, became a catalyst for a complete reset into who I was and what I did. During this tumultuous time, my family and close friends became my pillars of strength, offering unwavering support that carried the darkest moments.
I had always believed that common sense and fairness would prevail in the family law system, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The next ten years involved countless court appearances, numerous mediators, costly litigators, and a rotation of family law judges issuing inconsistent rulings— some of whom did not have specific expertise in family law. It was a real—and disheartening—eye-opener.
Disillusioned, I channeled my frustration into creating SplitSmart with Anna. My mission is to others toward fair and equitable divorce settlements through divorce financial planning and co-mediation services. I've witnessed court rulings that were disastrous for families, especially those with children, and I’m committed to helping others avoid similar pitfalls.
My professional path as a divorce financial analyst naturally expanded to include co-mediation divorce services. With certifications as a Divorce Financial Analyst and extensive experience in mortgage and credit lending, I offer specialized insights to help clients navigate the financial complexities of divorce. My goal is to make a difference—inspired daily by the kindness, grit and growth in the people I work with, I to keep a sense of humor and find joy in the mess and beauty of life, always learning as I go.
Beyond my career, I love to travel, get together with friends, take walks with my dog and junk journal. I’m a daughter and a single mom of two kind and humorous adult sons who always keep life interesting—and keep me grounded.
